Craft beer is always enjoyable. And the amazing variety of it available today means there are always new ones to discover. But sometimes, it can be daunting to stand in that amazing craft beer section at your local store and decide what to try. Sure, you can attend a local tasting, maybe even visit local breweries. But one of the best, and least expensive, ways to discover new brews is by trading bottles with friends.
Craft Beer Bottle Sharing
Our friends at CraftBeer.com recently posted a great how-to article by Hannah Carlson. “How to Host a Bottle Share” gives all the basics about hosting a sharing and tasting event. It offers tips on set up, choosing the type of brews and styles to focus on, snacks to enjoy in between tasting, and more.
One of our favorite tips is one we fully endorse when you’re tasting new beers: take notes!
With seven to eight people at your share and everyone bringing at least two to three beers, you’re going to be drinking a lot of beer – and likely beer that you’ll want to remember in detail.
So read the full article and set up your bottle sharing event.
